It's happened...
I knew with three boys it was inevitable but I thought I had more time. My mornings are filled with talk of poop, wieners, farts (and farting), britches, and anything else that is gross and disgusting. It is then followed by laughter. I have tried to curb it but my disgusted face only makes them laugh harder. And once one of them starts laughing, the other two laugh even harder. It's a vicious cycle. But somewhere inside of me I have to suppress my own laughter because I would hate to encourage this sort of behavior (right). I fear, the youngest of all, is the biggest instigator. The outcome of having three boys this close in age, has begun. God help me....

ReplyDeleteI think it is awesome! Even with a girl in the mix that is what most of our conversations are about as well.
This made me laugh! My boys love grossing their sister out. And I'm with you, secretly laughing because potty humor can be quiet humorous, but outwardly telling them it's inappropriate. Ahhhhh, the joys of boys. :)
ReplyDeleteWe're right in that mix too. What is it with boys!?
ReplyDeleteLOL! My boy is the same way. Saying the word "butt" is just the funniest thing ever! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great day!
Beth.
What else is there to talk about?
ReplyDeletei don't know how they know farting is funny so early, right?? And that it is really not that funny to girls.
ReplyDeletecan i link you on my new blog? i want to remember to check in and see what you guys are up to. :)
plus, you are my doppelganger.
Preaching to the choir, sister. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not just boys. My daughter jumps right into the mix too. Potty talk is what they're all about these days and by potty talk I mean bodily functions not the $&(!@ words ;) PS: Thanks for stopping by my blog. You have a beautiful family.
