I've never done one of these post and since I'm running out of ideas I thought I'd share a list of stuff you may not know about me (except my siblings).
-I have four brothers
-and six sisters
-Licorice is my favorite candy
-my hubby picked me up on the side of the road once after I wrecked my scooter
-I was fourteen (he was sixteen)
-I wrecked it because I was reaching for candy (I think hot tamales) and hit gravel
-I was a cheerleader in Jr High (who'd a thunk?)
-I backpacked in Australia after I graduated college
-I hung out with the Queensland Rugby Team while over there
-and went scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef
-it took me and two other people to help get my wet suit on
-that was funny
-I've owned a dirt bike (Honda XR250)
-it was stolen :(
-I've owned a street bike (Honda Shadow)
-I snowboard
-I've had a homebirth
-I have a fear of buoy's (those anchored floating things in lakes, ponds, and oceans)
-I have no talents (unless you count talking as a talent)
-I once totaled two cars in the same week (neither accident was my fault)
-I prefer swimming laps to any other exercise
-I love to laugh
-I hate shopping for clothes
-we live on 36 acres
-I have a strong sense of smell (although I think I've been passing it to hubby - he smelt a poopy diaper through a closed bedroom door)
-my favorite pop is Cherry Coke
-I very rarely wear make-up (and definitely don't know how to apply it)
-I wash my hands a lot
-I love McD french fries
-my favorite ice cream is cookies n cream
-I'm missing a tooth (see all photo's) and people feel the need to say "did you know your missing a tooth". Really??
-it's not really missing so much as it refuses to descend into it's position
-I would like to get braces one day
-I drive a Subaru Forester
-I poop regularly
....and I'll save the rest of my little secrets for another time

ReplyDeletehomebirth? - I wanted a midwife and the only midwife did homebirths. I did my research and decided it was for me. I'm not a big fan of hospital.
dating at 14? nope, just something we laugh about. i was 19, him 21 when we started dating.
and no I can't squirt water out of my tooth b/c I've got so many gaps everywhere else :)
You poop so regularly that sometimes you do it when you least expect it...

ReplyDeleteYeah, I can see how people might wonder if you knew if you were missing a tooth. I mean it might have fallen out or you might have lost it somehow. Oh, and when I was in the same situation a kid in my class asked me if I was missing a tooth(actually he said it loudly across the room-when I was a junior). I asked him how he knew and he said it was because I was laughing. It was embarrassing and I didn't say much the rest of the day.

I think if we ever own that much land (and I'm not sure I want to) I would be like Matt Roloff (from the TLC show Little People, Big World http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/lpbw/lpbw.html). They have a 30 acre farm and are constantly doing projects - seems like fun but lots of work.

ReplyDeleteWow, lots of random tidbits about you. I am jealous of your 36 acres - my boys would go wild out there and live like feral dogs. They'd be so happy. You sound very adventurous - much more so than me. Teach me to be brave?
