The three boys have been playing in the dirt in one of my garden beds on and off today for at least 3 hours. I'm going to do my best to start letting this be an every other day kind of thing. They are driving dump trucks, making roads, digging for bugs and playing awesome together. Operation BOYS GET DIRTY (relax mom) has begun :-)

ReplyDeleteYes, boys will be boys. Morgan had black feet Saturday and I told him to get cleaned up. He "rinsed them off" in the bathtub, and there was a trail of perfect, black footprints from the tub out in the hallway...after he had rinsed them off of course. And the black all over the tub proved he was in it.
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in Minnesota, I brought a whole tub of dirt into the house and let Carver play with it. He loved it. He put his matchbox cars in there and dug with spoons. As long as it didn't get wet and turn into mud, it was super easy to keep in a bin and sweep up after him.
